The 2009 Missouri Prevention Leadership/TREND Conference is a program of the National Council on Alcoholism & Drug Abuse (NCADA) - St. Louis Area. This year's conference, August 6-8, at the DoubleTree Hotel and Conference Center in Chesterfield, will provide the highest quality training in Missouri for youth in middle school and high school and adults who promote a non-violent and drug-free lifestyle. Titled Change Starts With YOUth!, the Conference is designed to energize and fuel prevention efforts in your community.

As a participant, you will receive the latest prevention strategies and resources through interactive educational sessions that will equip you to enhance or start a new prevention group, attract financial support for your efforts and identify new prevention partners in your school and/or community. You also will enjoy opportunities to network and socialize with your peers thereby reinforcing and celebrating the dynamics of positive peer support.
