Back to Basics: Alcohol Use and Alcohol Use Disorder Webinar

May 29 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am

Among the many impacts of COVID-19, we’ve seen a drastic increase in alcohol  sales and consumption across the country. In this webinar, we will review definitions of excessive alcohol use, as well  as the diagnostic criteria for Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD). In addition, we’ll highlight the risk factors and health effects of alcohol use, including the impact of alcohol use on common mental health challenges. Finally, we will share resources and treatment options for those seeking to decrease or discontinue their alcohol use.
