Fentanyl, Inc: How Rogue Chemists Are Creating the Deadliest Wave of the Opioid Epidemic

Ben Westhoff, award-winning journalist and author of the highly-acclaimed first book about fentanyl, Fentanyl, Inc.: How Rogue Chemists Are Creating the Deadliest Wave of the Opioid Crisis, is joining NCADA to speak about how fentanyl became the deadliest drug in American history, and what role China plays in this epidemic..

While writing the book, he traveled the world interviewing users, dealers, scientists, and law enforcement, and was the first journalist to infiltrate a Chinese fentanyl lab. Since publication, Westhoff has advised top government officials on the fentanyl crisis, including from the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, the U.S. Ambassador to China, the DEA, and the State Department.
