Film Screening: Written Off: The Short, Sad, Beautiful Life of Matt Edwards

The powerful story of a young man’s 10-year struggle with the torment and stigma of his addiction to prescription painkillers and heroin. This compelling film puts a human face on drug dependency, and is a must-see for anyone concerned about our country’s opioid crisis.

A panel of local experts will be available to take questions following the 75-minute film.

The screening will be in the de Pazzi Bently Room, located just inside the Conference Center Entrance at Mercy Hospital, 615 S New Ballas Rd., St. Louis, MO 63141. Click map to enlarge.

This free event is presented by NCADA and Mercy Hospital and is sponsored by The Aviary Recovery Center.

The film is suitable for viewing by adults and mature teens.
