SAPST is a 40 hour course providing a broad orientation to the field of substance abuse prevention. The eight modules presented include: Introduction to Prevention, Prevention Research, Cultural Competence and Inclusion, Prevention Program Planning, Evaluation, Using Human Development in Prevention, The Media and Prevention. This training meets the criteria for the Missouri Substance Abuse Prevention Associate credential requirement.
