Events and Services Updates

Friends and colleagues of NCADA,

We would like to convey some important updates regarding COVID-19 and the precautions we are taking to keep our staff, our community, and the people we serve safe.

NCADA’s office will close to the public starting Wednesday, March 18, 2020 until April 3, 2020. We will revisit the decision to open based on the current circumstances and guidance of public health officials. This allows our staff and their families to practice social distancing to protect themselves and the larger community from the further spread of COVID-19.
Also, we have cancelled all NCADA programming, training/workshops, and events until April 3, with future events under review, per CDC recommendations. The Spring Awards Luncheon, scheduled for April 24 at the Norwood Hills Country Club, has been RESCHEDULED for June 26. Similarly, our Trivia Night, scheduled for April 25, at the Shrewsbury Rec Center has been RESCHEDULED for September 26. You can find more information about programming, training/workshops, and events here.

NCADA will be offering limited remote counseling services (a counselor can be available via phone or tele health availability for modified assessment and referral services). Our counselors can be reached by calling our main phone number, (314) 962-3456. If you or someone you know is in need of immediate counseling services, call Life Crisis Services at (314) 647-4357 or 1-800-273-8255.

We will still be facilitating OEND (Overdose Education and Naloxone Distribution) trainings via Zoom and supplying agencies with Naloxone as requested. For more information about participating in these webinars, please contact Brandon Costerison at

We will continue to provide ongoing updates in the coming days and weeks. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at (314) 962-3456 or contact us via email at

Thank you,

Nichole Dawsey
Executive Director
